Funding to address substance use disorders (SUDs) and related issues. List may include programs with a primary purpose other than addressing SUDs.
Assists schools and other eligible entities with developing, establishing, and maintaining farm to school programs. Supports a wide range of training, planning, implementation, and operational activities in order to increase student access to local food in schools. Facilitates collaboration between schools, local agricultural producers, and other community partners and promotes educational opportunities related to nutrition and local food systems.
Provides funding to schools and local educational agencies participating in the National School Lunch Program (NSLP) to purchase equipment necessary to operate school food programs. Helps schools obtain equipment of $1,000 or more that will enable them to serve healthier meals and improve food safety for students. Funds may also be used to establish, maintain, or expand a school breakfast program.
