Helps communities attract investment, create and retain new businesses and jobs, provide job training and education opportunities for dislocated workers, and enhance technology and infrastructure.

Provides funding for economic development programs to help communities and regions prevent, prepare for, and respond to the COVID-19 crisis. Offers a wide range of assistance to address the impacts of the pandemic, including planning and technical assistance grants, capitalization/recapitalization of Revolving Loan Funds (RLFs), innovation grants, construction of infrastructure, deployment of broadband, and other development projects.
