Offers services, education, resources, and other opportunities to help healthcare providers identify and address mental health concerns and substance use disorders (SUD) in women during and after pregnancy.

What This Program Offers

The Screening and Treatment for Maternal Mental Health and Substance Use Disorders (MMHSUD) program helps healthcare providers:

  • Identify and address mental health concerns and SUD in pregnant and postpartum women
  • Provide real-time mental health consulting and care coordination
  • Collaborate with other federally funded programs to improve maternal health
  • Build partnerships to expand and improve service choices such as telehealth

Who Can Receive Services from This Program

Women during and after pregnancy are eligible for services.
