HUD EnVision Centers
Establishes demonstration projects across the country within or near communities with a high concentration of public and low-income housing. EnVision Centers serve as a centralized hubs providing resources and tools to help individuals and families in HUD-assisted housing become more self-sufficient. Develops partnerships among a variety of public and private agencies and organizations at the federal, state, and local level to support residents in the four key areas of economic empowerment, educational advancement, health and wellness, character and leadership.

Provides an overview of Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) efforts to increase the supply of trained, culturally aware behavioral health professionals, including psychiatrists, therapists, addiction counselors, homeless outreach specialists, recovery coaches, and other professionals in fields related to prevention, healthcare, and social services. Includes links to programs and resources to help address workforce shortages and provide culturally competent care to individuals with mental illness and substance use disorders (SUDs).
