National Survey of Children's Health (NSCH)

Offers access to national and state-level survey data on the health status of children in the U.S. Includes data on children ages 0-17 and examines factors related to the well-being and healthcare needs of children, their families, and communities. Includes data on the prevalence of health conditions, covering attention deficit disorder/attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder, autism, and asthma, as well as other physical, mental, behavioral, and developmental conditions. Other survey topics include the quality and availability of healthcare, health insurance status and coverage adequacy, receipt of preventive and specialty care, medical home access, adverse childhood experiences (ACEs), school readiness, parental and family health, access to community-based services, and more.

SAMHSA Data and Dissemination

Provides access to data, reports, and other information on various aspects of behavioral health, including substance use and mental health treatment services. Includes data on household substance use and mental health; treatment, admissions, and discharges; mental health facilities; substance abuse facilities; emergency departments; client-level mental health information; and uniform reporting system statistics.
