Offers information to address the five mission areas of emergency preparedness and helps colleges and universities coordinate emergency response planning with local, state, and national authorities. Describes the basic principles of emergency management and the process of developing, implementing, and maintaining effective EOPs. Covers various emergency planning topics such as the Clery Act, information sharing, psychological first aid, campus climate, campus law enforcement officers, and active shooter situations.
