Description

Offers healthcare professionals evidence-based training, education, and resources to treat patients with opioid use disorder (OUD). Provides free medications for opioid use disorder (MOUD) training for physicians, physician assistants (PA), advanced practice registered nurses (APRNs), and medical students. Training is available online or in-person.

What This Program Offers

PCSS MOUD offers:

  • MOUD training that helps providers meet the Drug Enforcement Administration's (DEA) training requirement when applying for or renewing a DEA license
  • Evidence-based training for primary care providers related to the prevention and treatment of OUD and treatment of chronic pain
  • Clinical mentoring, education, and other resources to help primary care providers identify substance use disorder (SUD) and proper treatment
